SUMMARY
Stylish fashion phone with 3-inch touchscreen. Plastic black casing feels a little cheap. No 3G. Consider the LG Viewty - similar design, better features.LG Prada Review
The LG Prada Phone (KE850 Prada Phone by LG) looks very stylish, has a 3-inch 240 x 400 pixel touchscreen, FM radio, memory card slot and 2 MP camera with autofocus and LED photo light.
Design
The screen and glossy surfaces can get very greasy. There's no stylus provided, so you'll get greasy fingerprints on the screen.
The silver strip encasing the phone is plastic. Metal would have been a more stylish (albeit more expensive to manufacture) option. The LG Prada is phone is very light.
The microSD card slot is located behind the battery.
Texting might not be to your liking - there's no tactile feedback when pressing down on the virtual keyboard. The virtual keyboard replicates a standard mobile keypad - it uses 3-letters per key [1abc] etc.
There's no 3.5 mm jack, so you'll need to use an adapter to use your own headphones. The music and video players are decent.
Features
There's a document viewer - view Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat files and a world clock (zoom in to the Earth globe).
Browsing the Web is slow - there's no 3G, only EDGE. The browser itself is OK. There's no Wi-Fi connectivity either.
Battery life is not good - LG state 3 hours talk time. The 3-inch screen likely zaps much of the battery power. You might want to turn the screen brightness down.
The 2 MP camera is OK - not as good as many of the newer higher megapixel camera phones - K810i, K850i, Nokia N95, Samsung U600, G600...
