Released at the same time as the Nokia E71 - July 2008. The E71 has a full QWERTY keyboard.
Nokia E66 Vs E71: E71 has a better battery (1530 mAh vs 1000 mAh), full QuickOffice (view and edit documents, E66 - view only), and the Nokia E71 has a QWERTY keyboard. Both Nokia phones can't be charged over USB. Both have push-email with MicroSoft Exchange.
Expect a couple of days of moderate use with the E66.
Design
Available in grey or white. Metallic patterned back plate and trim around the front panel and navigation keys. The sides, back (top and bottom parts) and keypad area are white (or grey).
Slide the front up to reveal the keypad.

Average camera with LED flash. QVGA video capture at 15 fps. 3.8 mm focal lenght, f/2.8.
Assisted GPS
Use Google Maps or Nokia Maps (pre-installed). Turn-by-turn navigation costs £7 per month.
No QWERTY Keyboard
Only the keypad with T9. Slower text input.
Nokia Web browser
Decent. 3G and HSDPA offer fast download speeds. Connect to local wireless networks with WLAN (b and g wireless standards). 802.11g supports up to 54 Mbps, and uses the 2.4 Ghz frequency for greater range. n standard is the latest - supports 100 Mbps+ transfer speeds and better range.

Automatic Display Rotation
In all applications, the screen rotates automatically from portrait to landscape when you turn the device to the left. To set calendar and clock alarms to snooze and to silence incoming calls, turn the phone face down.
You can also silence the phone by tapping it twice.
Summary
Good quality smartphone. If you intend to text a lot, look elsewhere to other ESeries phones, Blackberry Phones or the Apple iPhone 3G, which now has MicroSoft Exchange.
Price - Approx £320 SIM free. Or get it free on a pay-monthly contract.
