Power LED Flash
Power LEDs are high-power LEDs offering 12x light output as the feeble low-power LEDs, and similar brightness to Xenon flash units used in camera phones. Can be used as part of a dual-LED or triple-LED set-up.
Luxeon Power LED Benefits
- Power LEDs can be less than 10% of the volume of Xenon flash units
- Consume less battery power than a Xenon flash
- Fit easily into slimline mobile phones
- Cheaper and quicker to manufacture
- Lower voltage
- Comparable brightness to Xenon flash units
- Longer flash duration - hundreds of MS. During that time, the camera can invoke numerous features to better optimise the flash brightness - dynamic white balance, illumination level, auto-focus, red-eye
Speedy
624MHz Marvell PXA312 processor. Quick interface, few lags.
Battery Life
1440 mAh battery. 5 hours 50 mins battery life.
GPS and Google Maps
Built-in GPS. Get your location. Google Maps is installed. Google maps are downloaded in real-time over an Internet connection. To use the maps, you will need an Internet connection and you have to pay data transfer costs to fetch the maps over the mobile network.
You might want to install GPS software (EG: TomTom) - it's cheaper that way.
Summary
Launch price: approx. £539 SIM-free or get it cheap with a pay-monthly contract.
